The Liberty County Clerk operates two locations. The main office is in Liberty on Sam Houston Street. There is also an annex in Cleveland with a self-service kiosk for certain record requests. A marriage license in Texas captures the full names, birth dates, addresses, Social Security numbers, and prior marriage history of both parties. The signed returned license includes the date of the ceremony and the name and authority of the officiant.
